Women, Youths & Children Affairs

Portfolio under Councillor Dianeli "Danni" Aranda

Low Cost Food Program

Additional Information

In an effort to help rebuild San Pedro Town as we recover from the Covid-19 economic crisis, I Dianeli Aranda, Councillor with the portfolio of Women, Youths and Children Affairs and the San Pedro Town Council will be introducing a LOW COST FOOD PROGRAM.  Food has been short on tables in many of our neighbor’s households and we are committed to help.

This new program will allow qualified families to purchase a Food Bag for the sum of BZ$25.00. The purpose of charging is to make the program sustainable in that its operational cost of basic goods will be met and the monies can be re-invested to further purchase more goods. The monies saved by those in the program can then be used on other expenses.

The Assistance Program is based on financial need. To qualify Applicants must provide evidence of financial need. The ultimate decision will be made by a Financial Aid Committee. The groups that will initially benefit are single parents, elderly and families where the breadwinners remain unemployed.

If you like to be part of this initiative and give a donation kindly contact me at: +501 673-2199 or email: daranda@sanpedrotowncouncil.org

We appreciate any assistance and we look forward to your response.
